1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Garden Designer (the “Service”) you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

The Service lets you sketch a garden layout, drop in products and plants from a curated catalogue, and generate / export plans. The Service is provided free of charge for personal, non-commercial use. A paid tier may be introduced later — your existing free-tier rights remain unchanged.

3. Your account

You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised access. You may delete your account at any time from the Account page — all your designs and personal data are removed within 24 hours.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or our infrastructure;
• Resell, sublicence, or republish substantial portions of the catalogue;
• Scrape or automate the Service in ways that materially affect its operation.

5. Affiliate links

The shopping list and product inspector include affiliate links to third-party merchants (e.g. Best Choice Products, Amazon). When you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. See the Affiliate Disclosure for the full statement.

6. Content ownership

You own the designs you create. By making a design public (toggling the publish switch), you grant us a non-exclusive licence to host and display that design and an OpenGraph preview card on our domain.

7. Disclaimers

Designs generated by the AI auto-design feature are heuristic suggestions, not professional landscape advice. Plant viability depends on local soil, microclimate, and care — verify before purchase. The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to your use of the Service shall not exceed USD $50.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the Service and via email if you have opted in to marketing notifications. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
