Is it really free?

Yes. The whole editor, AI auto-design, PDF export, and shopping list are free. A Pro tier with hosted email reports and Claude-powered styling is coming later — current users get a grace-period discount.

Do I need to install anything?

No. The editor runs in your browser. Saved designs live in your account so you can pick up on another device.

How do you make money if it's free?

We earn an affiliate commission when you buy products through our shopping list (Best Choice Products, Amazon Associates). You pay nothing extra. The Pro tier (coming soon) adds optional features for power users.

How accurate is the AI auto-design?

It uses a deterministic rule-based solver — no LLM hallucinations. Three styles (Productive / Showcase / Low-Maintenance) place anchor objects (raised bed, tree, turf) and pack plants around them with companion-planting rules. Treat it as a starting draft you keep editing.

Can I use it for a balcony or courtyard?

Yes — pick the matching space type in the start wizard. The catalogue filters to small-footprint products (container gardens, hanging systems, vertical planters).

What about plants in my climate?

The plant catalogue is tagged by USDA hardiness zone. If you set your location in the start wizard, we filter out plants that don't grow in your zone.

Can I export to CAD / Sketchup?

Not yet. Today we export PDF + PNG. A DXF export is on the roadmap.

Will you sell my data?

No. We don't sell or share personal data with advertisers. See our Privacy Policy for details.

How do I delete my account?

Sign in, open your account, and click Delete account at the bottom. All your designs and personal data are removed within 24 hours.
